Day by day
Day 1
Arrive in the Luberon
A private transfer from Avignon or Marseille to a stone farmhouse in the Luberon hills. An easy first evening at the long table; dinner cooked in the kitchen you will come to love.
Days 2–3
Markets & hilltop villages
The great Provençal markets — Apt on Saturday, the hill villages of Gordes, Roussillon’s ochre cliffs, Ménerbes for lunch. A guide who knows every stallholder by name.
Day 4
Lavender & the plateau
In season, the lavender roads of the Valensole plateau at the hour the light is low. A distillery visit, a picnic in the rows, and nowhere you need to be after.
Days 5–6
Wine & the table
A morning with a Châteauneuf-du-Pape winemaker, a cooking afternoon with the farmhouse cook, and the kind of long, useless evenings the region is built for.
Day 7
Aix-en-Provence
A day in Aix — the flower market, Cézanne’s town, a fountain-side lunch. Camille grew up here; the addresses are hers.
Day 8
A long last lunch
One final market morning, a slow lunch, and a private transfer back. You leave on Provence time.
